Dr. Nir Billfeld

I am a Deep Learning Algorithmic Technical Leader, I specialize in developing high-impact ML algorithms that push the subpixel boundaries of data analytics and causal inference in AI.
My journey began at the intersection of Economics and Statistics, where I learned that every number tells a story of incentives and equilibrium. During my PhD and subsequent Postdoctoral fellowship at the Weizmann Institute (computer science), I transitioned these classical foundations into the realm of Unsupervised ML and Computer Vision.
My research scope includes:

-
Generative AI: ESRGAN, StyleGAN, Diffusion Models.
-
Semantic Vision: CLIP-based Encoding, Neural Objects.
-
Meta learning and Foundations: Recurrent Neural Networks, Distillation.
-
The Bridge: PyTorch, High-Performance Computing, Statistical Inference.
